Most summer hires are not hired, but rather paid as contractors via the AEA. We handle hours:
Hours are reported as per these instructions.
Onboarding
Onboarding is broadly similar to the regular onboarding process, but with a few differences:
- A separate “Red Cloud” instance must be set up with CCSS for the duration of the summer.
- Accounts must be requested an authorized by the Dean: https://sponsored-netid.cornell.edu/SponsoredNetID/ 🔒

We have a few things that you should do and expect before the training day.
Have a look at https://labordynamicsinstitute.github.io/ldilab-manual/02-02-pre-training-tasks.html View the video complete the action items of the Pre-Training tasks (especially the setup checklist) You should see some setup emails (Cornell "NetID" = computer account, Bitbucket/Jira invitation) coming in the next few daysWe will go through all of that again on the training day (except the video), so no worries if it can be a bit confusing.

You will get to meet everyone at some point during our weekly Zoom meetings!
