Dear authors,

We would like to invite your voluntary participation in a pilot project designed to speed up the reproducibility check of your replication package.

The process should take you no more than 30 minutes of your time (based on extensive testing by my team). If at any time, you would like assistance, please reach out to us by reply-all to this 📧 email!

The pilot project involves you (instead of us) making a very small number of edits to your replication package, filling out a 5-step checklist, and certifiying the reproducibility of your package on a website we maintain. If the certification works, my replicators will not need to re-run your replication package. The process will not work for all replication packages, and if it does not, we will proceed with our usual reproducibility checks.

You can find the checklist, and instructions, at the following link:

https://aeadataeditor.github.io/aea-de-guidance/preparing-replication-package.html

If at any time, you would like to withdraw from the pilot, simply let us know by reply-all to this 📧 email, and we will proceed with the standard manual reproducibility check.

Sincerely,

Lars Vilhuber and the Data Editor Team
