14_run_r_scanner.sh - Scan R code and data

Description¶

Checks the deposit’s R code and R data files:

• tools/check_rds_files.R checks R data files: generated/r-data-checks.csv and .md.

• tools/check_r_deps.R finds the packages the code loads: generated/r-deps.csv, generated/r-deps-summary.csv, and their .md versions.

• When packages were found, writes generated/software-warnings-r.md, a note that 24_amend_report.sh puts at the top of the report.

• When a renv.lock file is found (up to four levels deep), runs find_cran_date.py to write generated/notes-for-r.md.

Usage¶

./automations/14_run_r_scanner.sh <projectID>

Environment Variables¶

• SkipProcessing - When yes, the script exits immediately.

• ProcessR - When no, the script exits immediately.
