12_run_stata_main.sh - Run the main Stata file of a deposit

Description¶

Runs a deposit’s main Stata do-file in batch mode. Inside <projectID>/ it creates a run.sh that changes to the directory of the main file and runs stata-mp -b do <main>, adds it to Git, and runs it. When <projectID>/run.sh already exists, that file is used instead. The z-run-stata and z-run-any-big pipelines do not use this script; they run the top-level run.sh.

Usage¶

./automations/12_run_stata_main.sh <projectID> <main file>

• projectID - Deposit directory.

• main file - Name of the main file, for example main.do. It must be unique in the deposit and contain no spaces. A .sh file is run directly; other extensions are rejected.

Environment Variables¶

• SkipProcessing - When yes, the script exits immediately.

• ProcessStata - When no, the script exits immediately.
